Project Overview

Forest Energy strategically reduced grid electricity usage at Photon 5, where one central municipal grid supply serves five separate office blocks. By installing a 400 kWp solar system across four different roofs and integrating three tie-in points, the available roof space was maximised to significantly cut down on grid consumption. To further enhance efficiency, four office buildings were equipped with Deye hybrid solar and battery storage systems, replacing costly diesel generators with a more sustainable backup power solution. The project’s final stage includes a 1.2 MWh battery system in the main office building to deliver full-site energy resilience.
